Medical Exclusions

Consider keeping your child at home for an extra day of rest and observation if he/she has any of the following symptoms: 

  • Very stuffy or runny nose and/or cough
  • Mild sore throat (no fever, no known exposure to strep)
  • Headache
  • Mild stomach ache

Definitely keep your child home for treatment and observation if he/she has any of these symptoms:

  • Fever (Greater than 100 degrees your child may return to school only after his/her temperature has consistently below 100 degrees for a minimum of 24 hours)
  • Vomiting 
  • Diarrhea
  • Chills
  • General Malaise, weakness or muscle aches
  • Frequent congested wet, or croupy cough
  • Lots of nasal congestion with frequent blowing of nose

Colonial Academy School Uniforms Kindergarten – 8th Grade Students

Shirts can be ordered thru French Toast and authorized styles may be obtained by entering our school code QS5HSLQ.

If you should purchase a shirt elsewhere you will need to have "Colonial Academy" embroidered on it. A student here at the academy has offered to embroider for a small fee of $4.25 per shirt. She can be emailed at

BOYS: Khaki (tan) pants. These must be school-uniform style (plain or pleated, no jeans, or shorts).
GIRLS: Khaki (tan) skirts, jumpers or loose fitting pants. Skirts or jumpers must be knee length or longer and no skinny pants or jeggings. Girls must wear shorts under their skirts, but they should not show below the hemline. Skorts or other divided skirts, wrap-around skirts and shorts are prohibited; however skirts with built in shorts are acceptable.
